Description
A Barred Owlet checking out this new surroundings on his second day of fledging. He had gotten bumped off his nest tree by a Eastern Gray Squirrel so a bit of a rough start, but after a few days he got the knack for climbing and last I seen he was safely high up into the forest canopy.
